February 13, 2008 Rashida Jones set to 'Love' Rudd Rashida Jones has landed the female lead in DreamWorks' comedy "I Love You, Man," opposite Paul Rudd and Jason Segal. "The Office" regular also will co-star in the Renée Zellweger-Harry Connick Jr. starrer "Chilled in Miami" for Gold Circle Films. John Hamburg directs "I Love You" from a script he wrote about a man about to get married (Rudd) who seeks out a stranger to be his best man for the wedding. Jones will play the fiancée. Shooting is scheduled to begin in early April. "Chilled" centers on a Miami business woman who is transferred to rural Minnesota, and while she is there she re-evaluates her big-city values. Jones will play the best friend to Zellweger's character. Jones will star
on Fox's upcoming half-hour comedy "Unhitched," from the Farrelly
brothers. Her film credits include "Life in Flight," "Brief
Interviews With Hideous Men" and "Little Black Book." |
